My involvement with GIN began in 2011, when I was a 6th grader. I started a GIN project with a friend, in order to find a way to reduce the amount of gas that our school pool was using to heat up its water. After a long GIN journey of 2 years and 3 conferences, we managed to install 14 solar water heaters that currently save 75 metric tons of carbon annually. My relationship with GIN also strengthened, and I’m currently the Youth Director for the Global Ambassadors Program at GIN. Through the program, we create a training for global leaders, to then collaboratively divide into roles and tackle a worldwide solution/issue. If you would like to know more or get involved, please feel free to talk to me these 2 weeks for more information.
